Well then, you better get on it! We want to see this thing running. You have an obligation to R3V to see it through.
I've got a few wtb threads and craigslist ad's out, so we'll see what comes of them. I just want to drive this thing. I honestly should have waited and just started building an engine in college, but oh well, just gotta get done what I started!

You think i'm kidding. I will start a R3V militia.
My buddy has a fresh 302 block. I dont know what all he has for it. But he was going to put it in his fox body for his GF, but i think he wants to go bigger. Even though i been trying to tell him to put an LSx in it lol.

Even though it may be a futile question, could you ask him if he's interested in selling/ what he'd want for it? I had a few people lined up with running engines w/ clutch and flywheel and such for $300, but none of them are responding in the past few weeks.

Yeah, i'll see him this evening. I think its .030 over and has new pistons, so technically its a 306. But dont know about the crank or heads.
Did you try pulling the spark plugs back out and turning it over?
Did you mess with the timing chain at all?
It just seems odd that the engine would lock up just from sitting. Even if water got in there, you should be able to turn it over without the plugs installed to get it out.

Anyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.

Spark plugs have been out for the past 2 days, and never messed with the timing. Regardless, this engine was sitting for ~10 years haha.
