Iamcreepingdeath,
The little plate was supposed to go inside on the bottom of the subframe I thought?
It can go in either position. I chose the top side because my car is a rally car and I wanted to lift the engine as much as possible for oil pan clearance, and so that the skidplate would fit without hitting the oil pan.

I see I see. Makes sense!

I think I have an air hammer. Didn't think of that.
Maybe I'll play with it.
I was thinking of just buying new brackets.
Looking into radiators a little bit now, my original intention was to run the late model 325i setup, but now that I think about it I prefer not to have a seperate expansion tank.
Been looking into mishimotos of some sort haha

IIRC mishimotos use a separate expansion tank as well, but I could be wrong. A friend of mine has a Mishimoto E36 M3 clone that looks pretty good... haven't had any problems yet.

Yeah I saw that. Is there any info on a s54 m coupe radiator fitting? It has a integrated expansion tank. I had one on my e36 m3.

Did a little work today.
I took out the brake booster, master cylinder, and ABS unit.
I also got the brackets on the passenger side of the engine bay off!
