Thanks guys for the compliments. I'm doing my best trying to get done. Body panels should be done this weekend (if all goes well). Windows I believe tomorrow as my head liner was glued back tonight.
I got my license plate lights on. Since the oem holes for the light were rusted, we had no choice to weld a plate on them to shut them. I got Audi a4 plate lights and the cut out was made for them. They are smaller but still rectangular and fit the plate filler nicely.
Also the biggest dilemma of the night was getting the freaking M3 wire cover on over those wires. I managed to get the clips on but the top of the cover is off. I tried several times zip tying the wires in different ways, nothing. I guess it'll have to die that way. Hopefully the clips hold up.Comment

Cut the factory e36 starter power wire out of the harness and use the oem e30 wire from the distribution block. Run that behind the head above the trans to the starter. Only way I could get mine to work. Just too many wires/too thick of gauge. Thanks guys for the compliments. I'm doing my best trying to get done. Some progress last night and today. A buddy and I started making the setup for my trunk.
Made a basic frame with 2X6 and got some 3/4 MDF for my custom sub box.
Got the rad hoses cut to size for a perfect fit and placed the 16 inch Mishimoto slim fan. Still am missing the left side rad mount bracket.
Finish it off with the first air'd pics with the new paint.
