This. Right now, it's nothing more than a huge financial loss.

Just laughed my way through the whole build.... er um engine bay cleaning. Best of luck to Perry, but yeah saw it coming as did Farbin evidently. Been seeing this on craigslist and just now realized its this car. $5k for a non running stripped out car with a really nice engine bay and some fender flares ouch.... Oh well its projects like these that make bone stock low mileage cars worth more and more.

I hope you at least get it running so you don't get killed on re-sale.

So the trans is on and the engine is finally in. Bunch of little things to finish but its coming along. Wheels are off at the polisher. Faces are going to paint. Throttle body has been modified to single spring. Just need to finish the mount for the fuel rail and engine stuff will be done. Here is how it looks.

So you can't run a booster with that manifold?

I didnt ever plan on it but no a booster wouldnt fit with this one. But i think if you got the other side, the one that attaches to the driver side of the m70, that one might fit a booster since the bend would go forward towards the front of the car instead of back towards the fire wall

Hurry up and dyno it! I want to see what it makes with that intake manifold. I did some searching and found a few M70 guys that say the M20 manifold is superior in flow, but I never actually found any quantifiable data.

Yeah hung up the wide body front fenders for now. I need to finish the car before I move amd just dont have time to do it all.

well.... that was an interesting read to say the least.

I do love the m70 intake and the oil return setup though. Glad to see you've ditched the widebody/reverse-mounted style 5s for now; should speed things along.
