Ford 5.0 swap into a Bronzit. Update: Now running, VIDEO ADDED.
Well I see that you're posting on other threads.........where are the updates?? My car is untouchable at the moment so I'm living vicariously through you.....you're letting me down!
Still won't clear the flange on the shorty. However, I'm pretty sure if I loosen up the bolts I can squeeze it on. Going to try tomorrow, if it gets me to the next oil change I can throw on the 90. I'm definitely not trying to replace new manifold gaskets with my oil filters.

Anyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.
Honestly if there in 1 piece and dont leak after u torque um back down no harm no fowl. Just dont run um with a leak. Ive been holding off on finishing my "muscle car intake" because of the exhaust looping up so high on mine. Had bigger issues to deal with i guess. Most recent being the roll pin shearing on my mallory distro. Now after throwing the stock distro back in oil pressure is way low at idle. Im wondering if i sucked up a piece of something and it jammed up the oilpump causing the pin to shear. Nvr ends i swear.
Pictures to come tomorrow, I didn't even stop to eat today.
I picked up some longer bolts for the diff, and used some fancy 1/2" collars as spacers to set the differential down a bit. Then I cut out the cross piece on the bottom, and welded in some angle iron to seal it back up. This gave me plenty of clearance for the aluminum drive shaft in the subframe.
Lucky me, I ran out of gas half way through welding up the subframe. I'll have to steal the bottle off the tig to finish up. I'm also brainstorming ways to reinforce it and prevent twisting.
Trans cross member is made, everything is bolted up.
Finished the hydraulic clutch conversion, installed, adjusted, and bled. This thing took a while to bleed, but once done Oscar (coworker with the 951) was able to turn the wheels by hand without resistance with the clutch pedal down. Let off the clutch and it stops. Releases again without any drag. WOOHOO!!!!! This was the part that had me the most concerned!
Only thing left to start is wiring up the engine. This is undoubtedly going to involve a few hours of studying wiring diagrams, yay. I was able to fit the oil filter after loosening the header bolts. I also had to dimple in a corner. It should get me by, but I will be watching the oil pressure gauge like a hawk until the 90* adapter comes in.
Also, a good friend of mine is ordering a Massive booster delete kit plus some cash in exchange for a project bike I have. That said, I will be building a booster relocation bracket tomorrow. The plan is to drive it out of the shop tomorrow night. I'll be there from 9am to 9pm!

Will post tonight, going to be a long night. I still have to set up the brakes, and run the wires to the idiot lights (coolant temp, CEL, ect.) BUT, IT RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS. Huge thanks for my incredible wife who has put up with me spending a few 12+ hour days at the shop for these 2 cars.

Only thing left is to wire the coolant temp gauge on the cluster, and brakes.
Got the charging system working, along with the battery light on the cluster. I'll need to install a tach but I'm not too concerned. I generally shift by feel anyway, and I understand this isn't a high rpm engine so no need to really wind it out.
My buddy never e-mailed me the video from his phone, so hopefully tomorrow it will be up. I really need to take another anyway as I learned the hard way that SBF's have 2 different firing orders, standard and HO. Apparently the one I looked up first was not for a HO engine.
Hopefully I'll get to drive it tomorrow. After the first drive I have to force myself to pull it back in and clean up the wiring, needless to say it's a mess that needs to be organized.
