Ford 5.0 swap into a Bronzit. Update: Now running, VIDEO ADDED.
Also made my own master cylinder delete kit. Just a piece of steel and a plasma cutter, but it looks like it should gget the job done. (Yes, I'll dress it up a bit with some smoothing and paint) I still have to move the rod up an inch, but that should be cake when I get the chance.
So:
Driveshaft, check.
Throttle cable, Check.
Brakes, Check.
Clutch, Check. (as soon as I make the slave mount, should take 30min or less)
Only things left are the trans crossmember (waiting to get the car on my lift for this, has to be perfect), fuel lines, slave mount, move pivot point on the brake lever, modify brake lines, wiring, install tach and oil pressure gauge, burnout.

Anyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.
Got the bellhousing notched to fit the slave cylinder, and mounted. Just have to drill a hole in the throwout lever and I will have a clutch solution.
Also change of plans, going remote booster, with ABS still in tact. I've test fitted the booster out just in front of the valve cover, with a straight shot to the pedal. No bent rods here, just a strong straight piece. Now hopefully it plays out as well as it seems to fit.
Played with the driveshaft a little bit, I won't be sure on fitment issues until I get the car on the lift. Can't even install it without dropping the diff.
Seriously though, we're getting the 944 buttoned up and out of here so I can roll the e30 into the bottom "long term" bay for the final touches. Then I just have to get this Grand Wagoneer done so I can get some moolah in my pocket.
Be ready, because when the updates come it's going to happen fast. My goal is 8 hours of solid work to driving it out of the shop.
Good news though! I decided to put oil in and test out my pan, I about shit myself when I saw the puddle the next day. Silly me forgot to replace the nylon drain plug washer after welding and destroying it. Whew, close one.
I also have to make a trip to the local junk yard for a 90* Explorer filter adapter. Currently there is no way I'm getting a filter on there with the header about 3 inches from the filter housing.

Got the driveshaft up today. I love aluminum driveshafts, able to remove the front yoke, throw up the shaft, and reassemble the u-joint by hand.
That said, I have confirmed my suspicions. It is tight, very tight. I MIGHT be able to get by with spacing the diff down a little bit in order for the area that holds the u-joint to spin freely. However, there will be no room for flex. Worst case scenario I'll be busting out the tig welder, some angle iron, and reinventing the hole in the subframe.
I am determined to use this aluminum driveshaft.
Other than that, just had to hack off one of the CSB perches, beat a spot just in front of the fuel tank, and we are good to go. I will have to check this thing for a while after install. Can't afford to be rubbing anything on an aluminum unit.
Spent the whole day trying to get this 944 to run. After hours of diag, we're pretty sure the DME is shot. Anyone have a 28 pin 951 DME? This car has to run, because it is occupying the lift where my E30 needs to be in order to finish! :hitler:

Finally got the 944 running this morning! Found a bad ground wire to the DME, fixed it, and with a loud bang she came alive! (backfired from fuel being dumped into the engine from all the attempts to start)
Stay tuned for e30 awesomeness.
