        lol soon!

Advance will have my slave cylinder at 3. So now I must focus on getting the 5.3 into the Mustang for the day. His drivetrain is payment for his swap, so It would be kinda messed up for me to finish mine first lol!

Tried to test fit the driveshaft, I'm going to have to do something about the area where it goes through the subframe.

Although I might get away with spacing the diff down about 1/4-1/2 inch. I will fit this driveshaft in there one way or another. The length is now perfect.

Is the diameter to large for the opening in the subframe?

I think it's small enough, but the diff sits too high in the opening and the flange that holds the u-joint looks like it will hit when bolted it. I have to drop the diff to install it anyway so I'll figure something out.

Mine hits on the stands but is fine on the ground (worn subframe mounts) drop it down and check it again to be sure

                      Good call!

That's fine if it's awhile, not sure if you seen my build but I'm a ways from the point still haha.

How could I not see that build thread! It is what I would love to do once I can afford a second car. Small business hasn't grown enough yet to allow extra toys lol.

I'll check it out on the ground. Honestly though any rubbing worries me being a aluminum driveshaft.

Just a teaser for progress on the Mustang. Just installed the GM swap pan, double roller timing chain, shimmed the oil pump, and gave it a quick cleaning. We're in the middle of trying to assemble the UPR tube K-member and matching suspension. Control arms are a ridiculously tight almost non-fit.

80k 5.3 that looks brand new on the inside, with a fresh GM reman 4l60e.

I need to clean my shop yesterday. Unfortunately though I have to have the Mustang back on it's own wheels tonight so I can get a customers Grand Wagoneer back on the lift and finished by saturday. Still have to install the trans, transfer case, and wire up the new motor. FML. Sad to say the Mustang is getting the engine and suspension in, then rolling outside for a few days so I can make some money.

Why are they putting that motor in a Ford?

^ Customer came in wanting to do an LSX swap.

Being that I could afford the time to do the swap, I told him that I would trade the labor for whatever I needed to put his 5.0 into my car. :P

Well I'm off, back to the grind. Going to wrench on the E30 for a bit while I wait for the Mustang owner to meet me back at the shop. That was the other part of the deal, he has to help!
