Looking so nice in the freshly painted bay

Today was spent building the exhaust...

    X-pipe into Spintech

    Sure is fun to tig...

From the headers it goes to magnaflow metallic cats, X pipe, then a spintech

Back half...at the back of the car before the tips is a dual in dual out magnaflow.

This was the LAST piece that went in to make it all work. Had to do this runner a few times before I was happy with it.

I must say this is the BEST exhaust system I have ever built. I am blown away every time I look at it. REALLY happy with how it all came together. I wish I had some hangers to get some better pictures rather than things being held up with jacks, etc. Next step everything will be fully welded. the two pipes from the spintech to the magnaflow need to be welded apart from the system as they are pretty close to each other in a couple spots and won't be able to get the tig torch in there. Everything will get fully welded then go back up and hangers will be added. Along with the tips.

Shooting to be firing her up next week.

Went up north to the lake for a little bit this morning with the fam. Got home and my son was ready for a nap so I had some time to do some welding.

These are the two pipes that go from the center muffler to the back of the car...all welded now.

Center section off the car ready to be welded up.

              Tips

Entire thing off the car...few joints to weld up

              Remote clutch bleeder

Fuel pressure filter/regulator (still needs hose clamps)

Top ring on the shifter carrier is to hold the shifter lever in place.

OEM looking exhaust? That is a slap in the face for Jake... :) That is fitment perfection with sexy tig welds.

haha, it is better than OEM but looks like it came from the factory this way.

It's a big time heat wave here but I have a couple of AC units in the shop and it keeps it workable but temps still climb.

The list is getting shorter. Engine will be back in for the last time tomorrow...suspension will get finished up. Shooting to start it Tomorrow or Thursday (more likely)

Header on for the last time, subframe on loosely.

Front right flare needs one more sanding and then some finishing filler before primer

Right rear flare really close as well.

                          Engine In

                          Front suspension all on

                          Brakes going on

Had to put a wheel/tire on just to see how they fill them

This is will full negative camber...won't run like this but wanted to see what it looked like.

Finish filler on the left front flare

Right rear flare just about ready too.
