Yeah there is no way it would fit, I have maybe 3/16" between the rad and intercooler right now. I slotted the intercooler tabs to allow for some adjustment.

Just weld on the desired in/outlets. You'll be so much happier. There isn't anything on an intercooler that promotes a warranty that someone with your talent can't fix with a welder.
I agree and that's the plan, I want to move them up directly under the bumper support tube to eliminate some plumbing and clean things up.

I love the dual-purpose mount tubing. Everything looks really great. I wonder if adding add some threads/brackets to mount some separate shrouds for the IC and oil cooler/radiator and guide the upper shroud air down at the rad/oil cooler.
Just a shroud example. Been kicking around some ideas in my head to run a big IC but not kill flow to the rad.

That's exactly my plan actually. once I get everything mounted I'll open up the valance and make some aluminum shrouds to direct airflow.

Killer. I like how that shroud extends the frontal surface area a bit. Looks great in blaaaaaaaack.

Got a bit more finished last night.

Front is all welded up. I need some hardware to to finish mounting the oil cooler otherwise its all done.

Final resting place for the oil cooler. stoked how well it all fits. line will clear the hood as well.

Started mounting the expansion tank too

you guys think it would be ok to run that tank through the dishwasher to clean it out really good, or have any other suggestions?

I dont see why not. Or just fill up a 5 gallon bucket with dawn and hot water and let it sit over night and rinse it out the next day.

Do you have the sensor for that tank? I'm not going to wire it but obviously I need it for the tank to function properly.

I do not. It came with out iirc you can use the sensor from early model.

OE is $80-114 depending on where you buy it. I am hemorrhaging money on this build, I'm utilizing whatever I can and will go back later on some of the cosmetic stuff.
