This post is primarily copied from a previous thread to make it less confusing..
This thread will be my build thread.
My name is Adam. I am a Mechanical Engineering student.
I hope you lime pictures.
This will be a slightly slow build. Plan is to be "done" by next summer.
I daily an S52/5 Lug/IE3/GAS E30, so I don't have a rush to get this done. I can hoon every day.

I started back in mid 2009 on this 87 325iS and it went through multiple phases.
It ended up being an S52/ZF/5 Lug/Euro drift/autox/daily.
The S52 is currently in pieces and will be rebuilt. (it's now being sold)
The plan for this phase is: [updated 1/15/15]
-Refreshed LS1 w/ TKO600RR & 3 clutch 3.73 LSD & CATuned Axles
-E36M/Ti 5 Lug w/ C6 Z06 Brakes
-Z3 Rack
-MCS/FEAL/Fortune Auto Dampeners
-Seam Welded, Gutted, & Caged
-Tubed Front & Rear Ends
-Recaro Profi-SPG with Willans Harnesses
-Fiberglass E30M Flares, Hood, Trunk, Bumpers, Doors, & Skirts
-Carbon Fiber Roof
-BCL Wing
-Custom Body Harness
-APEX ARC-8 18x10" et25 w/ 285/30 R888s
-Full Imolarot Exterior, Alpinweiß Interior Respray
-Lexan Windows
-Wilwood Pedals
-RaceTechnology DASH2 PRO
-<2,300lbs w/o driver
From first day to last day it drove..

/history
I got the sound deadening out and started to pull the harness.
Then took a knotted wheel to all the seam sealer to prep the seams to be stitch welded.

I ordered some flares from Czech Republic and traded for some Recaro Profi SPG with VAC mounts from a member on here..

Which brings me to today..
I received the flares and figured my build thread was CONFUSING. So time for an organized one.
I started to take the sunroof cassette out and that ended in a very successful manner.
I then cleaned the garage and started preparing for the rotisserie.
Next morning USPS calls me "HEY! We have some huge packages for you, will you be home?"
PESCH flares were on their way.
I got them taped up as good as possible, jackstand kinda blocked the skirt though.

I'm taking summer classes so this might have slow progress. I need to hook up 220V in the garage and then it'll really get rollin.
