Ahhh... It's not fully bolted in up there. The fitment of body lines on this kit is pretty damn good if you manipulate it with brackets lol

some areas just line up and other dont, like you front driver side doesnt seem to line up as well as mine for some reason.

I stopped by the shop and messed around with fitment after I got off work.

It fits after much filing and making a new mount for the dogleg of the fender.

Here is the door installed with my previous fitment from above. Terrible.


These pics are after some sanding of the dogleg that's behind the skirt as well as some of the 'lip' that's on the fiberglass. If I push with my hands the skirt fits awesome. It's just chilling in the pics.

I present to you a 275/40-17 on a 9.5" et28ish ARC8 with E46 control arms.

I worked on this thing last weekend.. First time in almost 7 months.

I got some free E46 control arms to play with before buying a set. As you can see between the first two pictures I had to shove the fender out so much to clear a left turn, shoved out so much that I think it'll be way out of line with the door. Need to test fit it and see what my body lines look like..

I WILL fit 275s all around!

I also ground too much off the LCAB part. Caster looks off a bit. The arm isn't 100% tightened down but it's damn close. I think I will need to make some adjustable LCABs.

IronFreak - I'm with ya....my interest is to have an "emulated" E30M3 Race Car...I'm not in the mode to hack up my REAL E30M3.

Good to hear the fiberglass quality is better with Pesch

I'd be curious to know if the C-Pillar is a fully emulated piece..or just the outside fascia etc...trying to figure out how it would be integrated and hopefully appear pseudo factory.

Hopefully somebody does Fiberglass C-Pillar and share so we can all learn

I'm going to bet its just the outside fascia. Pesch does sell a few things that have cores such as hoods, trunk and doors. but a lot of it is for the look (i.e. the bumpers, fenders, rockers are all fascia molds), their primary focus is racecar.

The C pillar is cheap. If you want a M3 kitted car just buy flares and a C pillar and see what it looks like. It's only like $120.

I think it would be cool and could save even more weight but the effort isn't worth it IMO.

your rear quarters looked like they fit up better than my dtmfiberjunk, are the parts from pesch chopped strand or woven fabric? It's weird seeing your thread because it's like we are in a parallel universe, my build is very similar.
