Just drill and press in new studs in the same spots that they are on the stock strut mount?

They dont lol. The plates are round and the 190 top hats are like a weird egg shape. So you need to shave the plates a bit then drill the holes to match the tower bolt pattern.

Okay that's what I was thinking, but thought there could have been some other easier method.

Honestly that is the easiest method haha. Other than paying up for the gc or ysr coils.

Made a little cover to replace the stupid cassette tape holder. Now holds my fan switch and mk2 vdo volt meter.

Stealth mount amp in the emergency kit bay. No use for 30yr old supplies anyways. Need to drop it lower to the latch can close.

I like the wheel color a bit more. Anyways getting stuff done today. Realized the windshield has some sealing issues. So i removed it and in the process of cleaning it up at the moment.

Pushing the glass up here. Went all around the glass. Seems like the original.

A little 80s trick. When they installed the glass the put a wire in between the seal. Made my life much easier. Simple pull the wire and its out.

Stoked that theres no rust even tho its been leaking for what seems to be a loooong time. Explains the wet dog smell when i first got the car years ago.

And its back in. Hood got a coat of olive spruce. Not in love with it, but better than looking at a primered hood. I'll let it dry for a couple days and wetsand it to get ride of the stripping.
