Thanks for the comments. Its been a long hard build ha.

I always have run OEM mounts on all my cars because they are all street driven. I did have to upgrade to poly subframe mounts in my e30 due to OEM parts failing constantly. Poly mounts definitely make things louder. The difference is substantial. This self centering shifter is actually really nice. It is a bit notchy but I enjoy the feel. Expensive for what it is but it will definetly remove ALL slop in a shift linkage. There is zero play in the assembly and it has a wide range of adjustment. Worth the $400+ in my opinion.

This car is really satisfying, from an interior / exterior perspective I don't know how it could be more subtle given how much its been modified. The intercooler sprayer install is bitchin'

I was curious how you like the self-centering shifter, I'm always tempted by body mount shifters to try cleaning up the internal G260 trans slop, but I'm hesitant to install solid / poly trans mounts. Trying to thread the needle of keeping the car enjoyable on the street with "race car" parts. Though, even with solid mounts I imagine the E34 masks vibrations a bit better than a E30.Leave a comment:

IC spray version two here. Much cleaner with the delrin knob.

Spare engine for $100, can't beat that! Cheap insurance for piece of mind.

Such a classy looking car, inside and out.

Also your reflective heat tape on the charge pipe, where did you buy? DEI looks expensive. I saw Panici running it too. Guessing I'll want that here in Phoenix when it hits 120F.Leave a comment:

Left it all hooked up. I did the first leak check with a smoke machine. With the throttle plate closed I should be able to pressure the system up to 20psi or so to check for leaks. Works pretty good for 5 bucks.Leave a comment:

When you did your leak check did you keep the charge pipe attached to the intake manifold or block it off? If you kept it did you just make sure your air compressor didn't go over 6psi? I'm just afraid of too much pressure going in to the engine.Leave a comment:

No catch can at the moment. I am running the Crankcase vent off the valve cover to atmosphere under the car. There isnt much oil coming out of it and it doesnt cause any unpleasant odors so I will likely leave it as is for now. If I did run a catch can I would likely mount it near the ps reservoir.Leave a comment:

 Much better!

The welded bolt to the manifold idea is pretty nifty idea to hold a heat shield!

Are you running dual catch cans?

Home Depot plumbing parts and a valve stem to leak check the IC piping. I had so many small leaks at the couplers mostly on the hot side and at my blow off.

Alright. No more dicking around with IC pipe routing. This is the most efficient design I can come up with for bottom mount turbo.

 A couple pics.
