I was just as surprised when watching the video. We gave the car a good look over when it was on the lift to get WB bung welded, even pried on the mount arms, they didn't feel like they leaked out, and there was no cracks in them.Originally posted by MyE30 View PostComment

I have no idea why it makes that noise. This car is seriously a huge POS, but the motor is strong. Light flywheel so it sounds like a rod knocking at idle in N, interior is trashed, paint has no clear left, pops out of reverse, leaks oil, leaks PS and the trans sounds like a supercharger. It does have DDM coil overs, new control arms, tie rods and other tidbits, but whatever. These ITB's is the only reason I got it. Traded it square for my wife's Honda Odyssey with a slipping trans. I have known the last 5 owners and it always whined like this, has fluid and shifts fine (except having to hold it in reverse). Haven't verified if it's the original engine, but the clock shows just over 200k.
Once the testing is done, probably going to throw a cage in it, spare ZF, stock suspension and intake, then take it out to ChumpCar.
EDIT: Oh yeah, also can see the parking lot through the battery tray, so it's got rust too :/Comment
