I'm not sure the turbo compliments the build quality elsewhere.
Ever consider an EFR? I think a 7670 in TS configuration would net you a beautiful powerband with transient response to die for.
Good luck!
Your not the first to mention that.
I think I'm going to put the Holset H1C up for sale and take your advice in getting a different turbo.
What is the the going price for one of those turbos new and used?

They're a very sought after turbo. You can get a 7670 for ~$2K with a gamma-Ti turbine wheel externally gated in twin scroll. Used if/when they pop up they normally go for around $1200-1400.
If you're on a budget but still would like a more responsive/snappy setup than your standard 30r or 35r, I would recommend an S200SX FMW (AirWerks), which uses the compressor wheel from the 7670 but an Inconel turbine wheel instead of the Ti.
Either one of these guys [in twin scroll configuration] is going to absolutely blow your standard 35r powerband and response out of the water without overspinning the hell out of a 20g up top to get that low end tq hit.
