Went out to shop today and pulled the booster. It wont be here until tomorrow so I just got as far as I could.

Wonder how long all this shit as been sitting on my frame rail haha.

And of course for you corvallis.

I got my pedals on and they look great. Tomorrow I will put new booster in and clean the bay on that side since i can get to all the hard to reach places.

Yea i think the leak is the booster.

Intake boot were replaced with new used ones. Some kid crashed a e34 535i and he had replaced all the boots prior to wreck so when car went to the yard I happily went and pulled all them for like 10 bucks haha.

Wired in tach. I was way wrong on my idle. Shes idling around 2900-3k haha something isnt set right. Throttle cable isnt to tight. So must be somewhere else.

But after i think about it. Its a vacuum leak and i bet the booster is the vac leak

ZERO brakes and I'm not currently running a check valve so its down to the booster and MC and Im thinking booster. My buddy has an IX booster hes gonna sell me for 50 bucks and if it goes out i get my money back so thats why I'll be doing this weekend is putting in an IX booster. Im gonna go pull the MC today and see if maybe just maybe I blew the O ring on the MC and that causing my problems

A buddy of mine had one stashed away. I got it rather cheap but its got some road rash so the Alpina valence will hide it once I'm man enough to but it on.

I have been thinking the same. I dont have my tach wired in yet that will be done tomorrow. I was gonna do it today but only had 12 gauge wire and I didnt wanna use wiring that big for that gonna get smaller gauge wire tomorrow and then wire it up and see. Cause yea it sounds like its idling around 1000-1200.

Ah, misunderstood. Thought you meant the heat shields at the exhaust.... males sense.
