    Yours looks minty. :-)
Thanks I try to keep it clean, living in FL helps.. Yea I guess living in Michigan the weather will beat up cars if not taken care of.. I can't wait to see how this turns out :-). I'm wanting to swap an S54 in mine at some point.

Yes something will have to happen with the brake booster. More than likly I will go to a GM hydroboost. I've done it on other cars and they work great.

What's this jute91 spine extension you speak of? I'll have to send him a PM.
          you found it :)

the only bummer is you have to remove the transfercase or front diff to remove the shaft. however, since it has a grease fitting you don't have to remove the shaft to inspect & grease, so the only time you'd really need to remove it is to do the front diff or drop the transfercase anyway.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I have spoken with Matti several times and he says that with latest horsepower (+800hp) he had broke couple stock front diffs. After he reinforced the front diff ( added 2 extra gears into differential, the pinion broke down... 3.91 ratio isnt the strongest.. but it seems to be the only option here in Finland.. Also in the last time he drove 1/4 mile, the gearbox broke down.. third gear.. it is because the axles are tiny so they start to bend under hard load.. front output shafts he had only broke once by doing donuts and kicking clutch..

                              Pulling stuff apart

For the most part the oil pan lines up the the bolts in the mock up m50.

Made a locator for the oil pickup.

Did a little shop cleaning this afternoon...

moving the s54 closer to its new home.

The ix oil pan will get combined with an m50 pan. Also will run an m50 oil pump and a combined m50/m20 iX oil pickup.

PLEASE! Take good pictures of when you do the "Frankenpan" I know every one turns out different but there really isn't too many good photos of them being built/completed. I have an M50 Block for mockup and spare iX pans. Been meaning to do it, just on my list of shit that will probably never get done!

Thanks for the update, keep it up!
