Wait, really? The 514th '02 made? Holy sheet. Are there many documented ones that are earlier floating around you know of?

OK, another question, I've got one amber front signal, and one clear one, with another orange one in the trunk. Which belongs?

Any other awesome stuff you can tell me? Any other areas I should get pictures of?

Stock resto is def the right move. I know fuckall about 02s but it definitely sounds like you've got a really special example deserving of a proper restoration.

All the american cars had amber front turn signals. This car should have half shafts with u-joints instead of CVs, a drive shaft with 3 (!) guibos instead of u-joints, a generator instead of an alternator (pretty sure), 200mm rear brakes, low back front seats (no head rest), polished wiper arms, i'll think of more. Please post many pics, i'm starting to get jealous.

regarding fitting into it better than an e30, these cars have an insane amount of head room. I could wave my arms around without a problem when I had mine.

A clear turn lens is just a lens that's been sitting in direct UV rays for an extended period of time. I know a couple other '67 cars, Jeff's #5 car and another owned by Rob Inhout. Neither are near as early as yours.

I'm with Lorin, jealousy level is rising rapidly.

That's in pretty damn tidy condition for being found next to a barn. Wow.

Here was a '67 from Bring a Trailer..

Here are pictures of my old 02. The car I never should have sold. Originally Bristol but painted Schwarz at some point.

Car was a rust bucket but a ton of fun. I had to use my feet to cover the holes in the floor so water and rocks wouldn't kick up inside. Drivers frame rail and rear shock towers made swiss cheese look structurally sound!
