Yes sir! I couldn't end up letting myself sell it. Once I get a place with a garage big enough I will bring it with me out here. I'm still very excited for that car and what it will become!
Bahaha true so I can snap a rolling shot with me holding the steering wheel out of the window!Comment

Heidi still lives! I pulled her out of storage today to fix a few things while I'm back east.
-Rebuild shifter linkage
-Change diff and tcase fluids
-Install offset FCABS
-Install rear swaybar
-New Battery

Thanks dude, it's feeling good to get back into diagnosis trying to get her prepped for making the trip out (mid)west.
Although I went to install the IE rear sway and realized that you have to drill the trunk floor to mount it and was sad about that.Comment

But at least it's added strength. What you should do is dump an s54 in this car. ;)Comment

I will, man! This car feels so great because everything is so freshie fresh- it just needs paint and some odds and ends and it'd be a perfect car since the body is so straight/clean.
I still need to rebuild my linkage, do the rear end bushings (subframe/TAs), change the fluids and she'll be mechanically 100%.
But the drawback is that I'm literally doing the same exact thing to my iS out in the midwest (the iX is back east yet).
I need a house with a pole barn so I can finally tackle all of this shit that needs to be done!Comment

Put Heidi away again for what will hopefully only be until summer when I close on a house.
I'm thrilled again about this car because I have finally made some diagnosing headway! I have a fresh chip on the way and have the injectors out for rebuild, as well as verifying timing, clearances, etc on the new head/cam and she's already running better than ever.
I managed to get done a ton of work I haven't had the chance to do for a long while, and am very excited about dragging Heidi out to the midwest so I can finish up the car and enjoy it.
Soon will be rear subframe/TA rebuild, undercarriage detail, exterior seals, lock rebuild, and paint.
Here's until next time!Comment
