Is this thread about a Land Rover or a 750iL?
IDK.....whatever.
I deleted the SLS on the ten-till-8 the most right way.
Rear struts are standard from a 735i. PS pump has the one way valves gutted and the opening for the suspension line plugged with a shaved down oil drain plug.
Next up.....upper oil pan gasket....fun fun.1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5

Oil pan adventure done.
WHAT FUN
Have to drill those two holes to get to two of the bolts. Otherwise, the factory way, you have to remove the transmission....
Did the engine mounts.....the one on the right is from the left (driver's) side....so it see all the engine tq when revved.
It's also in a position where you cannot replace it without dropping the subframe.
I hope to not have to see this side of this oil pan for a loooong time.....if ever.....
But really, it isn't that bad of a job to do. I would have had it done quicker but I decided to get and install the engine mounts.
....and all buttoned up.
Sadly I don't have pics of the subframe(s) hanging down and the bottom end of the engine. Nothing was found laying in the pan. I was impressed.
Next chapter will be the valve seals and the peeling back of the layers to replace those.....1974.5 Jensen Healey : 2003 330i/5
