Make sure you are 100% sure your distributor is installed properly and TDC (not BDC)!
Also since you are starting with the turbo on the car, and not NA, it may be a good idea to try a first start with the timing retarded slightly.
Do you know how you are going to control/add fuel with the new setup? Once that turbo gets spooling, you are going to need a high rate of fuel to match the air flow...
After running some numbers, I am quite worried that the turbo is too big and you won't get much spool. You mention they upgraded you to a 'much better turbo' but it isn't a better turbo if the engine is too small to spin it up. If you don't get spool until 3rd gear at 4000rpm, that won't exactly be usable on the street...
Yes! Updates! They're few and far between! So I'm pretty sure i have the distributer on correctly if not its an easy fix. I just need a cap and rotor to find out. In terms of the turbo a 2867 is pretty small so it'll spool almost immediately. Imm using 800cc injectors and a Holly system for management. Spending $4500 on tuning and fuel management so it'll be good. Upgraded my fuel pump and regulator as well.

Hey guys! I know I haven't posted anything recently. I've been working my shitty job and making next to nothing, so I haven't really had the money to continued my build unfortunately. However, I just got a new job and will be starting up the build again! So I'm excited. Look forward to new posts in the coming months.
