I figured it out! The seal wasnt fully flush with the timing cover so I smashed it down a little and put some lune around and it there are no issues!

I ended up ordering a Spec Stage 2 clutch. Rated for 350 horse. Got it for $336.00 it shipped today. I'll put up some pictures when it arrives.

Aright so here's my clutch! Spec Stage 2 clutch.

Nice and blue! Too bad i'll never see it again lol

Heres the work I've done this weekend.

I was able to get the manifold on along with the turbo mounted. I had trouble fitting my oil return line with the TIAL v-band sticking out. I had to get a 45 degree angled feed. I'm going to tap the front of my oil pan for return. I got all the oil feed and return pieces on the turbo tightened and ready to go. All I need to do now is get the waste gate installed, get v belts, rear main seal/ clutch and bolt on the oil pan. Once all thats done I can drop it back into the car!

For oil feed to the turbo I tapped the oil filter housing in the place for tii 2002s came stock with. I drilled it using a 7/16 drill bit and tapped it using a 1/4in pipe and threaded in the nipple. I used thread sealant and red lock tight and torqued it down to 20ft lbs. i don't have pictures of the process but heres the after.

Yeah! I like it here because the oil going into the turbo is not only filtered, but cooled because of the oil cooler I'm adding. If you have any questions hit me up. Pm me for my number.

Noah, make sure you have thread tape on the fittings, mine leaked oil and was a pain to replace when it was installed on the car...

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Okay guys to last night was very productive and very overwhelming all at the same time! So my brother in law and I buttoned up the engine, got the oil pans on, the clutch, flywheel, TB, distributer and put in the car! So i forgot to take a picture so i will later, but i got my oil return tigged onto the side and front of the oil pan. right below all the belts. Hopefully it fits lol.

Lots to do still. Next I have to figure out how to fit my intercooler, then the radiator! So much to do before the end of the month before it gets tune!

                                Finally an update

Still a decent amount of work to be done, but it looks like that was easy to drop in with the size of the E30 engine bay!

Make sure you are 100% sure your distributor is installed properly and TDC (not BDC)!

Also since you are starting with the turbo on the car, and not NA, it may be a good idea to try a first start with the timing retarded slightly.

Do you know how you are going to control/add fuel with the new setup? Once that turbo gets spooling, you are going to need a high rate of fuel to match the air flow...
After running some numbers, I am quite worried that the turbo is too big and you won't get much spool. You mention they upgraded you to a 'much better turbo' but it isn't a better turbo if the engine is too small to spin it up. If you don't get spool until 3rd gear at 4000rpm, that won't exactly be usable on the street...
