777- Kamotors E23 Turbo Build + E38 content and a hint of e32
so that E23 ... thats an AT right? with a 4HP22? are you keeping it or are you going to go manual?
im really interested on how much power/torque you can put through that.
I have clutch flywheel and trans, but no pedal box,driveshaft etc so it'll be auto for a while. All the e23 745i cars were auto so it should be good for a while. I've decided on getting an entire parts car for when the time comes to swap as it's hard/expensive to find and buy parts for these e23s

Buddy has 4hp22 on his m106 thats been tinkered with. It hauls ass and has held up really well.

So about ready to give up on this chassis the electrical problem came back and left me stranded and pushing the car home.
I've traced it to the obc security box but even with that bypassed it has the issue, if I simply unhook the grn and grn/red box wires all the symptoms go away but then there is no fuel. If I hook them up then it's the tach freaking out, coil firing, starter turning issues again.
Going to replace ignition switch and hope for the best

Ok so determined it's multiple issues found the door jam switch was missing its insulation and rubbing on bare metal causing a relay to click and get hot. Fixed that....
Then I got the car started and as soon as I shut it off the coil and starter issue started up again. I pulled apart ignition switch wiggled some wires and it stopped doing it. Since it's a 2 piece ignition switch it still requires a key to drive but I should be able to put a switch panel w/push start and fix the issue .
okay that e32 has beat kamerons 7s time and time again. impressive. I wonder what new toys youll have.
With a good brake stall I can hold him off till like 80mph in the msport but no denying how fast it is. Pulls pretty good on an 01 e39 540i msport as well. Can't wait to see how the e23 compares and making a few changes to the e30 in preparation as well.
