Hi all,
I have been a member for a while, but have not posted a build journal until now. Long story short, I bought an 87 325is a couple of years back and lost compression in one of my cylinders. I met a local kid who has done a bunch of engine swaps and was looking to do an M62. We agreed on the price and I let him go at it. He does great work and I am very happy with the end result.
When I brought the car home from Ohio and brought back to Pittsburgh.

Nice cardinal red interior:

BOOOOOOH!!!!

Now to the fun stuff. My wheels arrived last year and have been patiently waiting for the e30 to get back.

Engine out:

Engine bay painted VW Turquoise

Euro bumper parts in from ECS.

My pretty new phone. :D

Here is my inspiration car. It is also painted the same color.

Here is the front plate. It is German for Bastardized, adulterated, impure.

Tires mounted and Mtech1 kit in the building.

Swap is complete and runs like a beast!

Don't mind the engine covers, they will be replaced.

I have since bought a complete suspension and brake rebuild and refresh. This is what I am working on now while installing the Mtech1 kit. These are the latest pictures and were taken yesterday.

I will be updated this thread with progress. Hope you enjoy!!
