This build is so great. I'd be interested to hear an estimate of what you have into it once it's on the road. Now that my red car's chassis is the way I want it, it makes a swap inevitable, eventually. The S54 is the prime candidate, but I feel budget could get out of hand rather quickly, urging one to go LS.

I have worked on enough N54's to tell you that I don't ever want to own one.

I am actually going to remove it today... for the same reason BUDNUNTA says below. I dont know why it slipped my mind but I should be able to scrap it off.

Agree with you 100%. Going to be doing that today... hoping to receive some parts from BMW to tie up the top end and then clean up the ITB's.

More updates!

The top end is basically done. Waiting on some small bits to come in from the dealer to be able to fully button things up and mount the valve cover. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm waiting on Andrew to shoot over the complete harness adapter then I can start making plans for the custom core support :D

Cams are in... everything is torqued down and timed. Gotta check the valve clearances on Monday to make sure its all within spec :up:
