damn nice read. i was reading the 1st page and thought i went through like 5 pages just to realize im still on page 1 lol. seems like life puts your e30 on the back burner ( i know how that goes) keep up the progress , little by little you'll chip at it.Comment

End up doing the Club Race school at Road Atlanta in the daily since the Racecar wasn't ready. Since it recently sat for a year I needed some stuff..A bit of some stuff..

SIDE NOTE: I'm always riddled with asking professionals, (who do their career for a living), If There is X Senerio should you Make sure you do X prep, Or Make sure the product is X size, Or X spacing, AND IT BE WRONG! Having to come back and have it fixed. Note Paint peeling off the carbon hood... Another day, another beer. Not a drinker, just my Larry Enticer way of biting my tongue and moving on.

The things that kill me, I had a 3.5 inch exhaust I made replicated so it wouldn't eat up a week building, and in theory they would be identical.. . The first one was great. This one... Multiple issues, Had to build a crate to ship back with the original for them to get this sorted...

What I though would be a simple task to get JStock Rear shocks... Newer Bilsteins are crimped and not many people know the workaround to re valve / rebuild them. What a fiasco.

Although we had a DNF Saturday we came back hard, Finished Sunday with a potential podium, if we classed the car in EC vs C. Car ran great all day minus having stock subframe in with no toe in... We are also on the older rear bar with the newer coil overs, doesn't help keep the rear planted.. But we managed and finished! Welp, officially a Racecar.

Most days are an up stream battle, Most days you don't know or appreciate how well things are going.
We never expected to have the racecar beat up this quick, but you know the saying. If you don't want to bring it home in a bucket, don't take it to the track. And if you dont know, now you know.
And I hate mentally accepting that, In the end of the day, A race car can be is a tool to learn how to drive faster. And sometime there is a fine line between winning and crashing
And, And, hopefully we have the skill/ experience to keep it straighter for years to come.. I guess time will tell what the racing gods have in store.
When I put the car onto the armco on its first outing we were on Wintered/ heat cycled 205/50R15 , Just a few weeks ago I was at Road Atlanta on grippy 245/40R17 on My Ti about flat foot thru all the corners.
I didn't take the time to re-calibrate myself, but just assumed that this amazingly Fresh racecar obviously will have more traction..
