and I removed the coolant expansion tank in preparation for relocation. I'm thinking about deleting the P/S, but it doesn't look too heavy so I'm going to drive it with the belt off and make a decision later.1997 540i/6 - stock

I dug deeper into my M42 cabby, pulled the intake manifolds, cleaned the oxidation off of the lower, changed the plastic coolant line on the block, deleted the throttle body preheater, replaced both temp sensors, replaced the DME and surrounding plastic, and had the kid put the glovebox in for me."I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death."

I bought a water pump to replace the one I broke. Also probably going to buy GM coil packs for wasted spark on megasquirt.1997 540i/6 - stock

The car has been driving great! This weekend I bought and installed a new front driver's side gutter trim piece, which looks great. I then installed a new fuel level sensor for more greatness. I then took my great-running car one mile up the street to my fiancee's parents' house for Easter Sunday, and came out to take a few shots of the car with the new telephoto lens....
And was greeted with a GREAT puddle of coolant as the water pump had pissed itself out all over the driveway. G-R-E-A-T!
The winter took its toll on my front end. The kidneys need to be retreated, the bumper is askew from when it was towed to the shop for a new clutch and transmission.....IS lip is trashed, time for some cosmetic work.
