Spent a couple hours getting the timing chain cover clean. Started as this:

Disassembled to this:

Cleaned to this:
Not finished cleaning by any means, but this is the progress made today.
Brackets for power steering pump before cleaning:

After cleaning:

You can see how freaking dirty the power steering pump is, the brackets looked just the same before cleaning.

lol again? That does not look like any waterpump I've ever seen, looks like some form of a compressor though.Comment

Oh crap you're right. I can leave as is then, i'll be adapting a smaller, new compressor in order to fit power steering and A/C. The 333i owners had to pick between the two due to the limited space.Comment
