Body work continued, lots of sanding.
right around this time i pulled the soft top off. Removed all the material and started to sand/ paint. Didn't need to replace the strap so i left them on instead of drilling the rivets out.
Everything came out good and i drove the top down to James @ Aspen Autosports. I ended up already having a new top so i brought him everything but he will upholster the top if needed. I will be picking it up very soon.

After months of body work and prep the time came for some high build primer. Usually this is only used for heavily sanded areas but i sprayed it on the exterior of the new parts as well. New OEM parts don't always have the best primer from the factory and I wanted the base color to be consistent. Yes, sealing primer was used after this but it wasn't a ton of extra work so i went for it.
Next project in the background.

Happy with the results, took a long time to get to this point and was able to reach it just before winter. Ultimately that was my goal so i could spend the cold months putting it back together. Planning on wet sanding the engine bay and a few small area before anything goes back on it. The rest of the car with be sanded after its put together.Comment
