Ok. I might just make my own mani.. But def keep me in the loop.

I will start taking more pictures as it is easier to see this thing come together. Its hard to update when i am just applying bondo, then sanding it off, then putting more on checking the straightness, then sanding it off and after a couple weeks it gets old.

I am almost ready to call it "good enough" spray it flat black so you cant see the imperfections and get on with the motor!!!!

Limmet was flat black so why cant i be?!

didnt realize until now but you should have coverted the tail section to the early tails, looks much better with the m3 style body over the late model tails.

          great progress though!

Yea... I hear ya. I probably could have done an early model tail conversion pretty easy considering I have an early model parts car... lol.

The late tails will have to do.

The tails were smoked like a week after I bought the car.

Thanks to all for the kind words!

To avoid confusion, that's an E28 535iS spoiler. They are close but different length and M Tech I doesn't have the ribs. I do like that style but not with the widebody.

You are correct. I thought they still called it a tech 1 for the 5 series??? I am aware of the actual tech 1 that is the exact length of the decklid on an e30.
