Oh and where did I say capitalism is perfect its not. Its the best system, even with out some regulation. And you do realize that much of the issues with todays capitalism has to do with Govts trying to get into it and regulate it.

Just blame Bush. That works for up until about 2 years in office. Just blame the last guy. You know Bush, all by himself, totally brought down the economy. He personally pressured the industry to give out more home loans, ease up on the standards and fueled the green. All alone.
It won't cost a fortune. It will all be funded by waste. Waste that suddenly we found but didn't know it was there before. roflmao

The guy got elected because is a very good speaker. He ran a perfect campaign at the perfect time. Preaching Hope and Change. The amount of ignorance and assumptions is what got many of those voting for him to actually vote. Did anyone who followed politics, watches the news and form their own opinions really expect anything different?
More spending, more bad policies, more bills filled with crap to the line pockets of rich people. It is all the same, it will always be the same. We can then just spend time arguing over who is blocking the 'change' and who is supporting the 'change'. It will go on endlessly until this crappy 2 party system dissolves. Obama and the dems could pass ANYTHING they want. Why haven't they? Oh I dunno, because the crap is so bad that even some Dems KNOW they will lose their cushy job next time there is a vote for their seat. Don't blame it on the other side when your party cannot even garner the support it needs.
Then you poll the country and it says NO and everyone votes YES! Cap and Trade anyone? Let's 'tax' the big, evil polluters and make them buy carbon credits or spend billions to update their infastructure.... genius! Who is going to pay for that? The companies? I think not.
