I've seen this happen on numerous car forums and other forums over the years, and 90% of the time, it's the lefties that want political talk moved to a separate forum when a liberal is the main subject of criticism.

I even belonged to one forum that did the same thing - had a separate political forum created by request of some on the left.

Then after that, they wanted their own political forum, called "The Progressive Pub" or something like that and it was "by invite only" and only the forum lefties could post there where they would bash the conservative members of the forum and post their ridiculous viewpoints unchallenged.

on a more serious note, I for one see no reason for not having a political subforum. The only argument against it is that you dont have to click on political threads, but they still clutter non political threads. The only reason not to have one is...

George, honestly, you need to calm down. I don't want to be the reason you ended up in the Hospital again. I have a ton of respect for all of the work you do, but you spew this ALL the time.
