To all of you narrow minded moreon's that think every cyclist doesn't own a car or pay taxes. We are mostly well educated upper middle class citizens that own multiple vehicles and houses. We pay property, state and federal taxes. We support grass roots organizations that help plan road use.

If I and my group are holding you up at light on your way to work it is either Saturday or a summer evening after work and you are probably wearing a shirt with your name on it. We are out for our weekly group ride and doing something to stay healthy. The bike I am on is worth more than the car you are driving and has as long a European pedigree. I own several of these and a percentage of each component goes to the government to help with bike routes and planning. Be careful who you honk at because we come from all walks of life, some are even police officers. In CA we put a nice doctor in jail for 6 years because of the harm he did to several cyclists with his car. As the cost of gas continues to rise and the cost of owning a car skyrockets there will only be more cyclists on the road in the coming years. There may come a day when you have to join us on the roads and I will be the first to wave and welcome you as go by. Hope to see you on the road some day!

Let's see here, I have been a member since this forum since its inception and its predecessor so the troll thing isn't going to get it.

I worked hard for everything I have including my bikes, and yes that includes a fixed gear and a single speed. I think someone has a bad image of themselves on their fixed gear here. I am not by any means an elitist just someone who calls what I see. I stop at stop signs and I obey traffic laws in my car or on my bike. I ride in large groups and put an average of 4500 miles a year on my bikes. I have been riding MTB and road bikes since I was 14 and driving BMW's since I was 30. Heres a sample of the bikes I currently own. I paid cash for each and every one of them. I have no credit card card debt and work for a living. I currently drive a 2004 Honda CR-V that my dad left me when he dies. I gave my E30 to my son when he turned 16 in Oregon. Hell one of my bikes is worth more than my car.

Like I said already, you are a wannabe elitist that comes on to an internet forum to tell everyone that your bike is expensive and how successful and educated you are. What's funny is you called everyone a moreon! You try to make people feel stupid by misspelling the fucking very word you are trying to put them down with? You are a sad, sad old man. Truth is, that bike doesn't do a god damn thing for you that a $1000 one would. Fact is, you're over the hill, have very few friends, have to make frequent stops on the bike trails to wipe out your "leakage" and you couldn't keep up with me on my $800 specialized. Did it ever occur to you I misspelled it on purpose? Have you not been anywhere on the internet and seen this interpretation of the word? No, there was error in my browser and it was an accidental double post ass hat. Do you feel so inferior because I can afford nice things and I choose to get them?
