BTW this is coming from someone who's been hit by a car. I used to bike everywhere, and bombing an intersection one day I got tagged by a car making a right on red. I could say they weren't paying attention yada yada, end of the day it's my fault.

you have to use your head when you are riding. i was hit 4 times on my bike riding WITH traffic. i finally wised up and started riding on the sidewalk against traffic so i could se it comming!

This is why the good doctor in California is doing 6 years in the state penitentiary. He slammed on his brakes in front of a group of riders severely injuring 2 of them. He couldn't drive away with the guy stuck in his rear window. I would not threaten the driver of a car or throw anything at a moving car for fear of exactly that response if I were to damage someone elses property. I would much rather wait to find you at a red light and take a picture of your license plate and you driving the car. And if I don't see you again so much the better.

That's where the reference came from. It's reckless driving because he admitted to it. My neighbor was sued after a car full of people came to a complete stop infront of him and he rear-ended them at about 10mph. Their excuse? Squirrel. They did this 3 times prior, it was completely reckless, completely planned, and completely within the law. I do like your attitude about retaliation though. Quite frankly there is no reason to start kicking cars in most cases, best bet is as you said, take a picture so you have their info if need be, but don't escalate the situation.

Nobody is going to cleat anybody's car based on a stupid license plate. You can officially be called a loose cannon if you try that shit.

Furthermore, who has ACTUALLY had serious trouble being held up by bikes? I've had plenty of situations where I'm behind a bike somewhere but none where they have seriously held me up to the point of anger (and I've been driving on tiny european roads for a week now), I've never had a problem passing bikes or really pissing anyone off, just respect them, don't carelessly fly by them and give them space. If they are running four abreast and not letting you pass then rev match to first and let that cone filter I know 95% of you have roar, they'll get the hint eventually.
