I'm at $136 a month full coverage on the e46 and $48 full on the e28. That's with 2 tickets and being 21 YOA.

I dropped the e28 to just liability for a smashing $28/month.

    All through State Farm.

I think some of you guys need to call around.

Aparently you guys dont know how insurace works. That $500 car plowing through a parade will cause the same damage as a $50000 car. That $100 a month isn't paying for the car to be replaced, its paying the medical bills of the tromboner you ran over.

You are right I don't understand any of that.

To everyone else, I pay $110 a month for full coverage on a 2010 Cooper S and I am 23. I think you should shop around some and see what you can find, some other companies may work with you.

it also depends on your coverages.

          i hve a $100 collision, $0 comprehensive. $500k on everything. my rx8 is $197/month and my e30 is $73/month.

i could reduce coverages and get reduced payments, but its not worth it for me.

Put the car in her name and let her worry about it being insured. Don't take on anyones bills or debt. It's f'n stupid. I did that and now I pay, pay, pay. Keep it separate!

Oh, and go visit her parents. At least you don't live 5 miles from them! And another thing, if you are not proposing a this two year mark when you go to visit her parents you are just piling more onto your plate of bitch.

Bro - Girls are like that. I just had a talk last night with my off and on for 7 years girlfriend. Be stern, be reasonable. If she doesnt be reasonable back, kick her shit to the curb and find someone else. If you're able to find 1 girlfriend, you can find another. Easier said than done, but the pain of shoving her ass into the wild is temporary. You gotta live with yourself forever.

The real question is, what is she doing out of the kitchen? God you people are slow.

Or not be a greedy fucker and just let it go. If you love the gal, move on. It's a bit of money you're out but hell, she let's you (ostensibly) stick your wang in her fish sauce, yeah?

Not that at all, I just find it funny when guys complain about having a girl that "takes all their money" or some other variation of someone else telling him how he should spend his money.

If she had her own money, she wouldn't need to dictate to him how to spend it, or maybe she would, but then you know you can kick her to the curb.

Women want equal rights, pick up your half of the living expenses to start.

However, in OPs case, you are spending yourself into the poor house. If buying a beatup E30 means you can't buy a $300 plane ticket, then you need to rethink how you spend your money..........girlfriend or not.

I'd say a second car over a trip to see the "in laws" personally, but then again, I've been married for 3 years...

I hear you, though. The "equal rights" is a sham as we each do our part and neither is completely equal.

OP, I never figured I'd say this, but Scabbz just about nailed it.
