They are buying seats, not selling. That said, anyone need a redone passenger side E30 sport seat in black? I have one, no headrest.

Those seats are the real Zagato type seats. There is far more to a lightweight Sprint, it was things like the seats, the windows were perspex and slid open rather than raised and lowered. The doors, roof, hood, trunk, and often fenders were all aluminum, no interior really, the wheels were magnesium. Pretty much, if it could be lightened from stock, it was. I think there are less than 5 SVLW in North America. There is a white one with orange stripes here in the bay area. Alfa made very few, and to see a real 750 lightweight is like seeing Sasquatch.

    Good find.

I want to see the curb weight of this lightweight version, considering that the regular Giulietta sprint is well under 2,000lbs.

We figured he spent at least 6 figures.

Old man owner said it was about 1800#

Trancas C&C today. My favorite car was this factory lightweight Sprint Veloce. Asked the old man owner what they did differently to make it lightweight. His list went like, "plastic windows, aluminum hood, doors and trunk lid. They did some stuff in the motor and the seats are lighter too." I guess this '56 was the answer by Alfa when Porsche kicked their ass in the '55 Mille Miglia. Apparently, they returned in '56 and kicked some serious ass, even beating the 1600cc Porsches with this 1300... so cool...

What do you expect from something with the word "stance" in the name? The whole objective is to try and look cool, not show details that the driving experience minded enthusiast appreciates.

you should be able to find a nice set of lx's for about 6 hondo.

How are those for long trips. I have a set of them in my Datsun, and I've found they get uncomfortable after about 2 hrs, but that could also be due to the fact that they are mounted directly to the floor boards (to keep my head under the roll bar with a helmet on.)

The guy I was buying the Sport seats from sent me one, with no headrests. After emailing him with no reply for a week, I reported him to ebay and got my $ back as well as keeping the one passenger seat, so I'm now exploring more options. As a side note, I didn't realize the sport seats had the sliders as an integral part of the seat so they likely wouldn't have worked anyway. I'm now thinking a set of Recaro LXs would be nice. Now to find an affordable set.
