I miss my best friend

It always makes me mad when people kill them selfs, think of the kid he left be hind, who's mother will now have to explain to him that he was a mistake that made his/her real father kill himself, and im sure she cared about him too. Suicide is such a selfish act that hurts everyone around that person more than they could know. I am very sorry that you have to go through this. Its something that no one should have to deal with.

My sincerest condolences. I've lost a few friends this same way. The world is just a little too hard on young people these days. Its just such a shame that a person can get to that level and feel like they have no way out.

I used to think like that too... but in the reverse maybe its selfish of you to think that person should not do that?? You never truly know how someone feels or the pain they go through. Some people break more easily than others, regardless unfortunate that he had a kid coming, and no I will never agree with someone taking their life(unless death is imminent or w.e), but I have a tougher mentality than most.

To be honest even if there are sign, a good amount of people would not take it seriously. Unless they were to be broken down on their knees screaming to die then its often disregarded until its too late. Its sad but true.

Taking your life is the ultimate act of selfishness. You are saying that your release from pain is more important than what you mean to your friends and family. It does not matter how strong a person they are, it is still selfish. But please, we don't need to discuss that in this thread.

I lost my mother and friend to suicide. Don't dwell on it too much but instead remember that person for what they were, not what they just did.
