I do have harnesses(unfortunately before the cage) and looking for a cheap, but genuine brand fixed back. And yeah, thats why I meant I was an idiot----> DD-ing a car with no heat or a/c, p/s, interior, a 302 and a full cage.Comment

yeah. but it's not common for people to smack their heads on the b pillar.
but a cage will run behind a seat. usually has a cross beam that is a good potential head injury point.
and let's take a 40lb pole, cover it padding, and let met smack you upside the head with it. it's going to hurt. put 3000lbs behind it... it's going to hurt more.AWD > RWDComment

It will still hurt either way. If you hit a solid metal bar with no helmet on and only an inch or two of padding, it will do damage. Thats why you want the bars tucked as far up as possible.Comment
