stuart, i dont want to argue or anything.. but the drift events ive been to are like 100+ for a day.. and thats just the track fee.. now youve got the gas/tolls(if any) / food/ tires/ wear and tear on your car/ and if anything gets damaged on your car.. and thats just one day...
edit: just saw your dad helps you out.. thats cool!Comment

100 DoD would only have been $70, the event I went to before that(Yoshi set up) only cost like, $25 I believe? Last autocross I competed in was $35. Just keep a look out for the deals, and have friends who run events.stuart, i dont want to argue or anything.. but the drift events ive been to are like 100+ for a day.. and thats just the track fee.. now youve got the gas/tolls(if any) / food/ tires/ wear and tear on your car/ and if anything gets damaged on your car.. and thats just one day...

U mad bro? I don't understand what the problem is. I love paying for things myself(hence, this swap) but wouldn't you accept help if it was offered? I don't deserve it, but he volunteers to help me pay for things and helps out at events, if you have a problem with that then sorry.Comment

So because I don't pay full price for the events I run, I'm screwed for life? Please explain to me where you were taught your logic.
If you want to have a pissing match feel free to message me on Facebook. You seem to have nothing better to do than start fights on R3v, so I'm sure you have enough time.Comment

Guess you wouldn't be willing to spend a little cash in order to bond with your son either...
It's pretty cool when parents show support like this. His dad has the means to help out along with the will to, are you saying that you wouldn't build a race car with your dad if you had the opportunity?

I'm not gonna have an E-fight with you on a forum and then escalate it to a more personal E-fight with you on facebook lol if it was like that I'd rather just see you in person. I don't care enough for the cause to do either. you're not the first person who has daddy pay for his car shit so it's just beating a dead horseSo because I don't pay full price for the events I run, I'm screwed for life? Certainly. But I wouldn't want my parents to pay for my car expenses if they have no part in it. For example if my dad bought my e30 for me to drive, with the intention of himself DDing it or anything, that would be a different story. But I'd never let my dad pay for a track event that he would have no seat time in.Guess you wouldn't be willing to spend a little cash in order to bond with your son either...

To each his own. I had to grow up faster then many 18 year olds so this monetary issue with my parents makes more sense to me.Originally posted by TSI♫ Rust flecks are falling on my head...♫OEM+Comment

Not that it matters, but he still drove it occasionally. And he has it for a full year the first year I'm at college. Its his car technically, so if he wants to pay for it, thats fine by me. I have to pay him back by the end of college anyway.I'm not gonna have an E-fight with you on a forum and then escalate it to a more personal E-fight with you on facebook lol if it was like that I'd rather just see you in person.
