...annnd the belt slipped off mine's hokey PS pump. Looks like I'll have to fix it sooner than later. Got 6k miles out of it though, almost a year, lol.

Is driving a Land Rover clinically considered self abuse?

Well, since most of the time with a LR one is not driving it....

Replaced coolant temp sensor and at least its coming out of closed loop now while warm.
Need to replace advance hose, wires, and throttle body heater hoses this weekend, and try to grease these ujoints.
Not looking forward to getting these wheels off so I can hit the swivels with grease.

Don't need to take the wheels off to grease swivels.

Removed all the Eiffel tower that was holding my power steering pump up last night. Literally started to fall apart as half the welds were broken. Time to think up a solution.

                      Stronger welds, preferably with adamantium.

This weekend I changed the leaky coolant lines to the throttle body(FUCK THOSE THINGS), changed the coolant temp sensor, changed the wires, cleaned the plugs, and reset my CEL.

Hopefully this weekend I can rebuild this driveshaft.

In light of this new Jeep thread, we need more success stories.

Came out to truck after work and only had 2 things leaking this time.

Mine is in the driveway in pieces....but it's not the Rover parts that failed, it's the odd custom power steering bracket, so technically the Rover is doing fine.

Success story: I've been DDing my 1500 dollar discovery 300 miles a week since September, not even worried about the fuel bro.
