Their website still says $800, and also will not allow shipping to Canada.
Their Amazon.ca store says still out of stock...

Equivalent everlast unit is like another $500, which I don't have (and if I did, I'd rather use it for consumables and a gas refill)

its so damn far from halifax. have you looked at your local craigslist for a good used lincoln or miller?

my 2 migs, tig, and plasma all came from there.

I'd never heard of anyone using craigslist up here, only kijiji... sure enough there's a craigslist for here, only result for "tig" comes up in "Mechanic for hire" stuff.

Otherwise there's an Eastwood unit on kijiji for $800, but it doesn't say if it's AC/DC or just DC, and apparently they came as both depending on how old it is. I'd also rather something a little nicer than that. Rarely ever welders near me on there unless they're bottom of the barrel MIGs or broken.

Pretty much only interested in the Everlast and AHP TIGs because of the reviews. For capability, it needs to do AC, but I really want as many bells and whistles as I can get... inverter, pulse, broadest frequency range, comes with all accessories, dual voltage, etc.
