Has anyone had a slave cylinder blow out the shaft, seal, ect into the transmission before?

Just finished a clutch job on an e39 and I was bleeding the slave and all the sudden I felt the pressure build up and the next time I depressed the pedal I felt theeee pop.

I couldn't get my hand in there or my magnet to pull the shaft out, so I have to open this dumb slut up again.........

so....this is indeed awesome Simon. if the price is right on the 850, I say jump on it.

however, keep in mind that the 850 manual trans is a real oddball. it is proprietary to that engine and won't fit anything else without lots of modification to the bell housing. this is ok if you plan to modify an m60/2

personally, I would buy a nice 840 or 850 with an auto. ditch that shit and install an s62 with a getrag 420. 396hp is nothing to sneeze at. with alpha n and a few dme mods, I'm pretty sure you would squeeze another 30hp or so.

it might not have quite the "qool" factor, but I bet it would cost about 1/4 the price.
