i remember getting the AOL CDs so i can get some free internet...then you'd have to call them to tell them you want to cancel, they would offer you another free month...that would go on for a bit. Then you'd get another AOL CD.

At one point those CDs were putting viruses on them. Aww the joys of AOL.

back in 04 my e30 looked immaculate :(

ac worked, no dash cracks, perfect interior.
junkyards were overflowing with nice e30s.
m30s was still a sick upgrade. now you got the m52 that are flooding the junkyards.

I'm so over the idea of a 24v swap

those engines perform really nicely, but its been said by others and I agree, they're soulless

          Yup.

It's also just not a very good sounding motor, which is impressive, since it's pretty hard to make an inline six sound bad.

            yeah they sound like vacuums..

m20s sound soooooooooooooo good. I'd kick myself if I heard an m5x/s5x in there.

It's nice. I'm shocked it's less than my Tundra.

Its because the n63, they are extremely expensive to fix for the average person. Me being a technician knocks the repair cost way down. Zero labor and parts are at cost. So most people stay away from them knowing they wont be able to fix it cheaply. Its like e60 m5 the v10’s are so expensive to fix you can pick them for 15-18k with lower miles. People also don’t know that BMW will be replacing N63 engines for free if they consume too much oil and meet other requirements otherwise they will be splitting the cost of the replacement with customer.

More or less yes lol. They are releasing the information to the public sometime in October. Its only happening cause they lost a class action law suit from customers pissed they bought a car with it. They are good if you can fix them yourself otherwise stay away.

Injectors go out, pcv lines break and leak, vacuum pumps, the rear main seal and oil pans like to leak. The only real fixes that are out are for the rear main, injectors, and vacuum pump. The rear main has an updated cover that more or less contains the leak and recirculates the oil back into the engine. The injectors get replaced with ones of a high index number like 11 or 12’s along with the vacuum pumps. Oil pan and pcv lines just get replaced with new parts. BMW also came out with a customer care package that replaces the injectors, vacuum pump, pcv lines, fuel lines, turbo lines and reprogram for free.

aww ok, I was thinking like the motor wants to eat it's own bearings or something.
