Add 24lbs of boost to a stock LS1.
Also they have boat loads of torque.

It's beauty is in it's simplicity as BMW engines are beautiful with their complexity.

The demonstration has since been replicated with 5.3's and larger engines, but the 4.8 crank, having a shorter stroke, is stronger than the longer stroke cranks.

But yeah... stock crank, stock rods, stock pistons, stock rings in an unfilled iron block = 1200+ HP.
