If what you have posted is true... you need a lawyer. Every states traffic offense laws are different. In Ohio 40 over will fetch you a heatlhy fine and whatever the cop feels like throwin at you. Its at his disposal REGARDLESS of what you were doing. If he feels 105 is reckless then it can be cited and you have to prove otherwise. The insurance thing of course is a no brainer..... but you have to remember... you were in violation and if the judge wants to he can slam you on it. Just because you didn't have a current card on you doesn't mean you are ok. Thats part of the law.... carrying a current card. The license plates.... the same thing.

I had a similar experience. Did a burnout in a customers 6cyl mustang WITH HIM WATCHING and there happened to be cop in the parking lot accross the street. I did this in the parking lot of the store I owned. The cop came to my lot, stopped me. Nailed me with RecOp, No seat belt, No insurance, No license and Endangerment. The car moved 21feet 9inches according the burnout mark. And I got all that. Needless to say I went to court and got it all dropped. I'll tell you what helps.... a guy in Class A's standing next to you sayin they won't let you in the Army if you get these tickets pinned to your record. Good luck.

Online driving courses rock. I took one a couple of summers ago. Using tabbed browsing and the search function, the quizzes were a breeze. The whole process took like 30 minutes. Good luck.

Good call bro, announce on a public forum how easy it is to cheat on these tests. That won't cause them to yank them or anything and make it so people actually have to travel to a DMV & sit in an 8 hour course.

here is my list so far:
do the online drivng course
make the racing simulator which ive been meaning to do for months (guess i have some motivation now)
clean my desk, the garages, ect.
list some stuff ive been menaing to put on ebay.

i was going to put in the z3 rack.
i was also going to do the ITB's but now i cant even go to the store to get parts, my dad would probably take me though. It would make sense to do it now since i cant drive it anyway, although i dont even need them now cause when i do drive again i am going to drive like a granny

The fact that both cars have to be sold due to a ticket sounds to me like he didn't spend a dime to aqqure them. But that's neither here nor there.

As for 20 over, come to the Eastern US, most states use that as a yardstick for "reckless". Hell, in Virginia anything over 80 is reckless. There's highways there that are 65 mph, so 15 over results in a felony which can net you jail time.

fight it. no reason to pay the $7500 if you can most likely get it reduced. ALWAYS fight tickets, while what you did wasn't too bright, our speeding laws are pretty fucking stupid to begin with.
