Woo just bought a chili red 1999 xj sport. Itll become my daily driver over the e30. Pretty clean and well taken care of. It was just rained on so it looks extra shiny but normally it doesn't look bad either. Looking forward to doing a few mods to it first.

            Test the heat now.
That way, come November when it's cold here in the Northeast and you discover the heater core is blocked from lack of coolant changes, you aren't ripping the dashboard out in cold weather.

Some days I miss my Classic. Others, I am glad I got rid of it... love the rear spring sag in just 3 years.

I do the Jeep thing too.

              Family shot

99 Limited out towards Buckhorn Pass this winter. 125k miles, fully loaded Limited. 2 inch budget boost on 30s.

00 Sport. Lifted 5.5 on 33s with D44 in the rear, Aussie lockers on both ends. Unfortunately just sold it to fund the E30.

Its still cold enough now to need it in the morning but Ill definitely be testing everything out.

Is that a roof top tent you have there? Once I save up a little I had plans to look into getting one.

Sure is, it's an older Mombasa tent. I think they are out of business now but almost all fabric tents are the same exact design. It definitely makes camping easier and more enjoyable than being on the ground. I sold it with the Jeep but my wife and I are already considering another one if think we'll get enough use out of it. I'd probably go hardshell this time unless I knew my fabric tent was going to spend its life in a garage. You end up needing to replace the cover every couple years once the UV does its damage.

Here I am setting up camp on Cape Lookout.

Speaking of RTT's I am in the midst of picking one out my self...... And I saw a clean looking silver XJ for sale locally today going to to go look at it this weekend and see if there is enough room in their asking price for a little bit of add on's and flip.

Hey maybe I should have waited and searched Montana's Clist. The main reason I bought the jeep is because Im moving to Bozeman this summer and didn't think my e30 would be of much use out there.

gard school???? I dont have an e30 anymore because I didnt get the use out of it (as a fun car/2ed ride), so I have an FZJ80 instead for that

I would get some good A/T tires and preferably ones with a snow flake on the side if you going to be here all winter and are not used to snow. I know it snows in MD but they dont care for the roads in the winter out here like your used to in MD and winter is a lot longer... Or if you really want a set of shity wheels and studded snow's for winter, but unless your going to be climbing the pass all the time or heading way out of town in the winter frequently studs might be a little over kill....

plenty of orv stuff to do in that area, some of the best spots outside of UT/CO in the west are not more than a few hours from there. I would get some mods on that thing before you bring it out and get it trail/camping ready your going to want to spend some time exploring

Yup its for grad school, phd program for microbiology.

My plan now is a 3inch lift and 33s. My buddy just picked up a xj too and that's the set up on his. Looks big and aggressive without being over the top. Here's a picture when we went to get it... in April.

No more XJ for me... Was totaled Tuesday morning on my way home from work. Girl pulled out infront of me and I couldn't do nothing but hold on and stand on the brakes. I'm fine and she is fine also. The oil jug and small box is from her car, Her doors was blown open from the impact.
