Just got back from SoCal...all I gotta say is..

You guys are DAMN LUCKY to live in such an awesome place!

The weather rocks, the fresh produce ROCKS!!! the gas is far cheaper than what we pay up here in Canadaland, the salsa tastes like salsa should!

I could go on forever, but I'll just say that you guys have it really nice. Sure the cost of living is a bit pricey, but it's still far cheaper than the highway robbery we face daily here in Canukville. I'd give my left testicle to swap places with you guys!
If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Seriously? Fuck no. I like NJ, but the weather alone kills it for me. Two months of nice weather out of the entire year just isn't enough.

AHAHAH. This. There's a bum that lives behind our boat house on El Carmel point (Mission Beach).

A few months ago, my coach told us to go in the back and clean up some weeds, and when my friend opened the door, he slammed it accidentally into the bum's head.

Lemme know when you're leaving - i'd love to see the lambo e30-ghini.

Where in SD do you live? San Ysidro? Linda Vista? Barrio Logan?

I'm generalizing a bit but I spent some time in NJ/NY and I don't see how you can have a nice (and I mean nice) car on the East coast. I don't see it unless of course you only drive it 3 months out of the year! The weather is extreme cold/dry/hot,snow,rain,salt, etc. In metro cities, people drive like maniacs, pedestrians will just hop right out in front of you, in the country you have deer, etc. When I was in Jersey, it rained the entire 4 days I was there. When I was in NY, it was like 30 degrees for a couple days then 60 the next and very dry.

God forbid you have to park on the street...

Unfortunately, most of the beach cities are flooded with bums. They, just all of the tourist and the rest of humanity, want to die with a front view of paradise, which is understandable + drugs are readily available for them too.

Closer to 6 months, maybe 8 if it's a really mild winter, at least in south jersey. As long as there's no salt on the road, it isn't really a problem. Valid point though, and it's one reason I want to get out of here.

When were you here? It does tend to rain a lot in April, and we do get the occasional 60 degree day in jan/feb, but it's not that common.
