Not so much price, more like production which yeilds a higher price. I don't consider any Porsche, except the Carrera GT, a supercar. BMW only had the M1 as their supercar.

Have you looked at the rear suspension design on the new vette? They may have, somehow evolved from leaf springs but there are no true leaf springs to be seen on a new vette.

Alot of things can beat supercars, hell a modded Civic can beat a Viper, still doesn't make it a Supercar. Supercars are rare, prestigious car, typically made with care not something stamped together off an assembly line by blue collared workers.

I just wondered, what does 'Supercar' mean to everyone? Is it a 200mph car (BMW M5?), is it a limited number of hand made cars (FXX), is it a sub 4 second 0-60 time, something that costs more than £100,000 or just something that is generally unobtainable to the average person?

There's no right or wrong answer, I'm just wondered where people believe a car stops being 'Great' and starts being 'Super'?

You do realize that the ls7 is hand made by 1 person right? I think you guys just like to disagree with me and thats the only real reason why you hate the car. There are no other good reasons.

Yes, that is the "transverse leaf spring" component of the suspension. But it's obviously quite different from a true leaf spring.
