Alright, I'll play. I picked this up over a month ago, thus ending my 2-year on-and-off hunt for my ideal 4Runner. Here's what I found. It's a 2009 SR5 4WD V6 with only 50,000 miles, meticulously babied by the previous owner, who owned his own architectural firm in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Scooped it up from a Toyota dealership so it came with a Toyota 3 year / 36,000 mile extended warranty, which I guess is nice. I've already done a few things, and have a few things in store for my unicorn. Plan is to keep it looking very OEM & factory, but have already done a few things & have a few plans:
- OEM Toyota Accessory 2" Weight-Distributing Tow Hitch sourced from a local dismantler
- Blasted and powder-coated hitch for clean look and durability
- Trimming the lower center of the rear bumper for factory hitch
- OEM Toyota Accessory Hitch hardware & "close-off" piece
- Thule 2-bike hitch-mounted carrier (non-frame mounted)
- Weather tech all-weather floor mats protected the carpet since new
- OEM Perforated steering wheel (forgot which model this will come from)
- Bluetooth cockpit phone interface
- Canadian-spec instrument cluster (KM/H primary)
- Original 4Runner Accessory exhaust tip (came in trunk, just installed)
- Lamin-X fog light protection
- Headlamp lens restoration
- Fix the dent on the hood
- Upgrade the speakers in the cabin to something slightly nicer
- Professionally undercoat the frame rails/undercarriage
Down in San Diego before making the drive / move up to SF last month.

Stopped by to see one of my best friends at work

Threw on the roof rack accessories from the E30

Cheesy parking job at the cliffs (Torrey Pines Glider Port)

No itasha pickup; no care
I'm really looking forward to that trip... I just ordered some stuff to get my truck ready for it. Really hoping I can squeeze an RTT into the budget, but with the E30 and dirtbike stuff... I dunno if I'll be able to swing it.
And here's a pic I took yesterday

Nice taco man, Should be a fun off the beaten path exploreing and camping rig from the looks of it
LOL dealer add on "demand charges" are kinda BS but I get it but 10k is a bit much
here for those that cant look it 42,875 msrp 1 trim plus your options like floor mats and shit and I know some dealers come off that a bit like my local one sells for 41.5ish

Agreed that $70k is outrageous, but when I was looking at vehicles in '16 the TRDs around here were going for something close to $48k with absolutely no options. I didn't see any fully loaded ones, but I'd guess they'd all be in the $52-55k range.WTF whom ever is paying 70k for a off the line TRD pro send them my way, I have water front property in New Mexico I want to sell........
MSRP for a TRD Pro is about 43.5k Just slightly less than a full option Limited. My local yota store sells them for about 41.5 give or take almost every week. With about 2-5k off the sticker for Limiteds and SR5s.....
Yes I have heard of some dealers tacking on a demand charge of 5-10k over sticker but 30k over MSRP is OVER THE TOP...... For 70k I would just pony up the extra 7 grand and get a 200 at that point.......Leave a comment:
