I liked what Tyson had to say about Mayweather.

I was rooting for the Pacman too, but I didn't think he was going to win. To be honest, I wanted to watch a much more exciting fight but in the end, I don't really care. They both made more money in those 12 rounds than most will see in their entire lives.

And, this pretty much sums up the internet right now:

Mayweather fights like a coward. He does just enough to make sure he can get the points but won't make a fight out of it. I guess that is part of the sport, but I know I wouldn't feel good about winning that way. But then again, Mayweather is a complete shitbag.

Boxer browler comparison and break down.

Both Manny and Mayweather are named in this article.

I kept hearing about this, didn't have much interest in it, I am the kind of guy who almost always goes for the underdog though. I watched a recording of the "fight", snoresville. "Biggest fight of the X" my ass, boring, win by decision, etc. Terrible. People who actually paid full price to watch that must have been pissed.

I mean yeah, that is quite the obstacle to overcome. I don't believe that is the be all end all of the outcome of a match though. I can't imagine that there is not a way to defeat Mayweather, even with his excellent defensive skills. Is has been revealed Pacman was not fighting at his full potential due to an injury, so I believe that could have drastically impacted the match. I would say Pacman won at least 3 rounds of the fight. Given he was in tip top condition, he may have won at least 6 or more.

A way to beat Mayweather? yes there is but Manny Pacquiao does not have the skill set to do it. Manny could have 8 arms and still loose, it is the same outcome no matter how many times they fight. If Manny becomes even more aggressive he will just eat more check hooks and might even be stopped late. You don't beat Mayweather with volume, you dont try to outbox him either. Those are loosing strategies. Manny had a slight punchers chance in the first four rounds at best.

Ok then so how do you beat Mayweather? ok there is a way but here is the deal. First of all anybody who is physically smaller than Mayweather has no chance. Zero ZILCH NADA. He wont loose to nobody smaller than him. If he has a reach and height advantage then forget it, Floyd will win every time.

Now keep in mind Im talking about a Floyd Maywaether in his prime vs a foe in their prime. Floyd's prime is pretty much over at 38, but let me tell you how you beat Floyd.

Now before I tell you the formula let me say that there is nobody out there right now that can do this so if you hate him (I can't stand him myself) and want to see him loose Im afraid you're pretty much out of luck. Now if he keeps his promise and retires in one more fight he will retire undefeated. If he keeps fighting till he is in his 40's then chances go up of him loosing specially if he fights a young foe (but not a little guy like I said). I promise you he will retire soon, his perfect record means the world to him so he wont risk it fighting once he is old.

So without further ado here is the formula to have your best chance to beat mayweather. So first you must be his size or bigger, guy in the 154lbs division no welterweight (147) and below can do this. And to beat him you must have just one thing. Very simple really, you must have an amazing, crisp accurate:

                            JAB

Yup, that is it. You don't have to be the fastest, you don't have to have huge punching power. You must have a great jab where you can control him with it. You can neutralize him and keep him at bay by snapping the jab and keeping him from turning you and countering you like he did to Pacquiao. And yes thats what he did to Pac, he made him miss turned him and countered. It's a boxing strategy which is not that hard to counter. How do you counter it? by cutting the ring off, something that Pacquiao is HORRIBLE at.

Ok now back to beating Mayweather, once you can control him with your reach and snap the jab to the head and body and can cut the ring off you must match his stamina. You must be in top condition since you can't fade, if you fade he will win the last rounds and pull the fight off.

It must be the perfect fight, you must stick to the jab and not let him take that weapon away. It must be accurate and crisp throughout the fight.

Ok need proof? no problem. Go to YouTube and search for Floyd vs Oscar De La Hoya. Watch that fight, I mean watch Oscar when he is working the jab. Look at the problems he causes Floyd. Now oscar had the size and good jab but he faded away late in the fight (Oscar always had stamina issues). Even with all that Oscar managed to beat Floyd in one official score card.

By the way just so you know Im not talking out my ass. Boxing is my favorite sport. Always has been and always will be, I don't watch football or MMA or anything else like that. I watch fights in an analytical way. I have my favorite guys but I don't watch with hate or passion towards one guy. People wanted to see Pac KO Floyd because people cant stand him and rightly so but based on every breakdown of possibilities the chances of that happening were very slim.

This man speaks the truth. I watched the de la hoya fight after reading your comment and I was pretty amazed at how effective that jab was. You are spot on about the size and reach too. Pacquiao was not gonna be able to slip inside that reach with the technical skill mayweather has. Either way, sucks that it was a boring fight. Mayweather would have won 5 years ago as well but it would have been a much more exciting fight to watch.
